This is a powerful tiny machine for its size and cost. I paid $20 at Amazon today ( missed Black Fri. ) after having a look at all of the other corded and cord-free stick vacs online and somewhere else. I wanted the wire ( better power / longer life ) but also something light and simple, so I would not fear vacuuming so much and put it off forever which is my common MO. I was not sure it might do the job, but I vacuumed my entire house ( all wood flooring and 1 or 2 rugs ) when I got it home, and it managed beautifully. Also sufficiently light to vac the bedspread and settee cushions ( kitty hair ) and did a good job there.

No it doubtless will not do the heavy lifting my big Eureka does, however it gobbles up dust bunnies, moggy fur, and random mud simply. My only cons so far are : one. Rope is a little too short. Simply cured with an extension, but still.

Its only like, fifteen or twenty ft? Two. On / off switch in a bad place. Its right in a spot where it gets coincidentally flipped off when maneuvering under furniture. This got to be a bit upsetting. Three.

I loathe the bagless thing. Its icky. Yup its likely more environmentally correct, but come on – bags are paper ie bio-degradable. Actually , I only had to unpack it once, after doing the entire house, so it was not too terribly frightful. And just about all of the stick vacs are bagless, so what are you intending to do?

Anyhow I seriously recommend this vac if you’re trying to find something light and powerful you can just whip out and use simply. Just watch that switch, and smile and bear that icky bagless thing. And unless you’ve got a truly little area, it helps to have an extension rope.

Slim form, not great cleaning power!!

This is to all intents and purposes merely a hand-held vacuum with a handle, except my hand-held vacuum does a more satisfactory job of vacuuming the floor. Example : Just latterly put in a Yuletide tree into my flat, and I had an one sq ft patch of needles to vacuum up.

It took around three minutes and one or two passes to get all of the needles. The vacuum has a tiny suction hole on the bottom although the bottom appears like a massive suction bar.

Pros :

• small form factor
• light
• easy to store
• long rope

Cons :

• poor suction power
• small storage / mucky stuff compartment
• not that far better than a hand held vacuum

It works nicely for me since I’m just on occasion vacuuming up leaves, dust, etc, and not a lot more heavy like animal hair or seriously fouled carpet. If I had a dog I’d doubtless upgrade to a full vacuum, but this works nicely for town living.

Do not expect to utterly clean / scrub your floors with this thing.
