Hoover LINX Cordless Stick Vacuum
The Best Stick Vacuums Reviews – This Stick vacuum is great, but customers should really know that being cord-free is a duty not a choice. That an actual fact wasn’t clear from the reviews and outline. I assumed that I could use it from an outlet, but that is not correct. Though the battery lasts long enough for my seven hundred sq ft good, having to charge it for three hrs before each cleaning means I must plan to wash beforehand and I cannot just do it everytime I feel a bit like.
After 4 ( under $100 ) attempts, we “bit the bullet” and acquired the Hoover Linx. We were Hunting for a reason to return it…one year later…still lovin ‘ it ( and, 1 or 2 buddies have purchased them, as well ). Great battery–very good suction–easy to drain. This product epitomizies the expression “you get what you pay for”.
Nice job, here, Hoover! We are ordering the hand-held, today…fingers crossed…quality runs “in the family”? Stand by for follow-up review… p.s.- L O V E Amazon…the best!!!

Hoover LINX Cordless Stick Vacuum Reviews
Wow! The Hoover Linx is the best vacuum you might buy and is unquestionably worth each cent you spend. I have attempted many wireless vacuums for my between cleanings rather than taking out the standard vacuum, which is a Dyson dc twenty-five all floor and this small wireless picks up and cleans almost as well as the large Dyson. I have pergo floors through with area rugs and one of my massive area rugs which is eight x ten in size is a thick nearly shag type rug and this Hoover gets way down everything and picks ups the pile so that’s looks like I ran the giant vac.
Before this acquisition, as stated I already own a dyson so I went and bought the dyson stick cord-free dc35 and I returned it nearly straight away as it wouldn’t pick up anything on my area rugs. I was startled as I like my dyson and that shouldn’t actually have the dyson name. Also the dyson stick is at least double the cost of this superb Hoover Linx.
The Hoover also continues to run and work so well for potentially a good 30 mins before the battery desires recharging, that’s also impossible to believe. Clearly I cannot say enough about this superb vacuum except thanks such a lot to the Hoover Company.

Hoover LINX Cordless Stick Vacuum Customer Reviews
By jitensha – Stick Vacuum
Excellent design and performance!!
This is a factory renovated unit and it arrived with a dead battery.
Seller swiftly and courteously replaced battery. The key to a cord-free product is the battery, and the Linx’s 18-volt, lithium ion battery has the power to make the vacuum an efficient tool. The Linx is designed so that the battery can be removed and is charged in an external battery re-energiser, unlike most stick vacs that have non-replaceable built in batteries of a lower voltage and often the older nickel cadmium technology, which doesn’t hold a charge as well and takes more time to charge.
The sole other stick vac I know of that utilises an 18-volt, lithium ion battery is one manufactured by Makita, but that appears to be designed basically for jobsite clean-up instead of domestic use. As well as having fantastic power for a cord-free vac, the designers of the LINX appeared to have paid close attention to the the design issues with other stick vacs and answered them. Among these are :
- The vac stands up on it’s own. This would appear to be clear, but many stick vacs do not.
- The vac is really easy to unpack, and your fingers never need to touch the mud.
- The economic design is sexy and the vac seems to be sturdy. *The single control is a thumb wheel turns on both the vacuum motor and the roller brust, and it’s simply turned on when your hand is on the handle.
- The vac is straightforward to carry and use All this costs money to do, and the LINX is the costliest cord-free stick vac I’ve seen, excepting the Makita and the likely exception of the Dyson.
Nevertheless if you can justify the price I would say it’s worthwhile. You can keep the price down by purchasing on line, either new or remanufactured. New units carry a six year guaranty and a two year guaranty on the battery. When the battery dies, you can purchase another one rather than having to throw the whole vac, as is mandatory with numerous more cost-effective wireless vacs.
BTW, if you’ve got a tiny flat, this could be the sole floor vac you want. You would, naturally, need a fresh hand vac for upholstery and curtains Hoover makes one of those, as well, and it involves the use of the same battery. ( I haven’t attempted the hand vac. ).
